CAMPUT

CAMPUT: Canada’s Energy and Utility Regulators is a self-supporting, non-profit association of Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial regulatory boards and commissions.  These boards and commissions are responsible for the regulation of the electric, water, gas, and pipeline utilities in Canada. Some CAMPUT members are also responsible for the regulation of matters such as automobile insurance.  CAMPUT also has five associate members.  You will find a complete listing of all members on this site.

The Purposes of CAMPUT

  • to improve public utility regulation in Canada; and
  • to improve the education and training of commissioners and staff of public utility tribunals.
