The Alberta Utilities Commission has won the 2013 CAMPUT Award for Innovation and Leadership. The 2013 award was presented at CAMPUT’s Annual General Meeting in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Alberta Utilities Commission received the award for its leadership in guiding a consultative process with stakeholders to introduce changes to utility disconnection and reconnection

The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) has published an exposure draft proposing to allow rate regulated entities, who are first time adopters of IFRS, to recognize regulatory assets and liabilities.  CAMPUT has written a letter to IASB supporting this proposal.
